Old, New Old
To create this collection of work I have set myself the task , to the best of my ability , of not buying anything new. Much of the materials, including paints and glues used were sourced from op shops, friends, or found. Other items are waste produced from consumables used by my family.
Friday October 28th – Saturday November 12th @3pm
Darwin Visual Arts Assoc – Christmas Wrap-up and Fundraiser
DVAA is an artist run initiative – meaning, it is an organisation run by artists, for artists. A selection of donated works will be available for purchase ranging from $50 to $200 (Roller Door Gallery only) with proceeds going to DVAA, to help buy items on their wish list.
Join in the fun for this end of year wrap-up and snavel yourself a bargain!

2016 has been a wonderful year for print making. In this show, Rita Macarounas has drawn together a collection of works from her favourite Darwin print makers, to tie off the year.
Works will be on display in the DVAA Foyer space.

Elements, Evolution, Elevenlee
An exploration of a studio journey, with the artists that crew it, and the inspiration that drives it.
This body of work represents the diverse creative works of Kate Bussey and Gerald Clapham, with students in a budding studio called Elevenlee.
Using mediums as varied as the people who are involved in the studio, creations are born and are bought together to delight the senses and feed the soul. Their wish is to bring beauty to their lives and yours.
