Secret Art is a group exhibition for first time or early career visual artists to have the opportunity to exhibit their work in a gallery setting. Secret Art is being held as part of the Darwin Fringe Festival and provides a fantastic opportunity for emerging artists to exhibit their work in a gallery setting, and get their work seen!

DVAA prides itself on offering a high level of support to first time exhibitors. The entry fee is only $10 and participants may submit up to 2 works for consideration. Participating artists will also have the opportunity to be a part of the hanging team, and learn how to hang an exhibition. Keep your eye out for the ‘Hanging Your Work’ mini workshop!

Friday July 7th – Opening night

Participants must:

  • submit application form to DVAA
  • pay a small application fee of $10. You can pay online or in-person

    • In-person: Visit DVAA, 56 Woods Street, Darwin during office hours

DVAA reserves the right not to hang works deemed offensive and to remove works that may pose a health risk.
